iSchedule™ utilizes a wide variety of resource configuration rules that you set to determine court date schedule availability. Rooms are configured for capacity as well as the types of hearings or conferences that are allowed for a given room, on a given day. Person’s schedules can also be configured, like mediator schedules and judge schedules. Its powerful AI scheduling engine can be configured to consider any of the following types of business rules:

Case Eligibility – You can set the types of hearings that can be heard in a given court session. This is determined by case characteristics such as Case Type, Case Division, Filing Type, Charge Type, Charge Class, Event Type, etc.

Day and Time Eligibility – You have the powerful capability to set the days of the week and time slots that are eligible for on-line scheduling selection. Examples: (1) M, T, F Morning Session; (2) Wednesday Session from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM; (3) Every Monday including the 5th Monday of every month; etc.

Capacity – You can define how many individual cases are allowed in any given time slot.

  • Overall Room Capacity – example: 50 total cases
  • Configuration Capacity – example: 5 Motions, 15 Petitions
  • Attorney Firm Capacity – example: 25 Cases per firm in any given session
  • Self-Represented Litigant or Pro Se Capacity – example: 10 Cases per session

Availability – You can set scheduling constraint rules to account for your desired people and resource availability

iSchedule™ is Easy and fun to Use

iSchedule™ has a very easy and intuitive public user interface. A user simply has to follow these few steps in order to schedule their case or an event.

  • The Public User can use their cell phone or PC to Search for a Case or Cases
    • By Case Number
    • By Case Type
    • By Party Name
    • By Firm or Attorney
    • Other customizable search criteria
  • The User can select the case or cases for which a court event is required. BONUS: iSchedule™ allows for selecting multiple cases in order to find a schedule where ALL the desired events can be scheduled on the same day or even in the same court session.
  • The public user can select what they are trying to schedule. (I.e.: A Motion, petition, etc.)
  • iSchedule™ will display a visual calendar of all available days to the User.
  • The public User will “click” on the calendar to select a day of their choice.
  • iSchedule™ will then display a list of open court sessions for the selected day, much like an airline reservation system.
  • The public user will “click” to select the session that they desire.
  • That’s it!

iSchedule™ will ensure that the user selection conforms to all the scheduling and configuration rules set by the court and that sufficient capacity exists. It will be interfaced to your Court Case Management System (CMS), so it will automatically make the necessary entry into your Court System so the event will “immediately” be recognized by your Court CMS, keeping all court clerks up to date and fully aware of all case and daily schedules.

BONUS #1: In addition to being a self-service application for Attorneys and SRLs, iSchedule™ can be used as a scheduling replacement for internal schedulers and court clerks. It also has an open API that will allow for integration with Attorney and Party Portals providing self-service scheduling capabilities within and to your existing applications.

BONUS #2: iSchedule(TM) can be combined with iNotification™ to provide even better customer service by sending out customizable automated text messages and/or emails to court customers to inform them that their case has been confirmed “scheduled”, as well as many other valuable automated case event alerts and court date reminders.
